Nya Buley brings a strong blend of playing experience and diverse coaching expertise to the Fission sidelines. She played competitive volleyball from age 12 through 19 and was recruited to play in college before an injury cut her playing career short. That setback didn’t stop her from staying in the game—Nya quickly transitioned into coaching and has spent the past several years developing players across a wide range of ages and skill levels.

From 2021 to 2024, she coached 10U–13U athletes at Topflight Volleyball Club, while also leading clinics and private sessions for older players. She then took on the Head JV Coach role at Weber High School, working with athletes from 14 to 17 years old and helping shape their competitive growth until relocating to the South. Most recently, she coached at M2 Volleyball Club, leading both a 17U National One and 14U National Threes team. Now coaching one of Fission’s Elite teams, Nya brings her energy, knowledge, and a deep commitment to player development to every practice and match.
