Karen brings a strong background in coaching and leadership to her role as Fission’s Coach Coordinator. With decades of head coaching experience in high school and collegiate basketball, Karen has long been dedicated to shaping student-athletes on and off the court.

In 2025, she joined Fission Volleyball Club as an assistant coach for both our Elite and National teams. Her ability to connect with players, support head coaches, and bring a steady, communicative presence quickly became an asset to the club. In 2026, she continues in her assistant coaching roles while also stepping into the expanded position of Coach Coordinator—using her leadership skills and passion for mentorship to support and develop our coaching staff and serve as an additional touchpoint for player and families alike.
