Sophia Aguirre Bahr was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and has been passionate about volleyball since first stepping onto the court at six years old. She began playing competitively at 14, competed for four years at the varsity level in high school, and continued her playing career for two seasons at Oak Hills Christian College in northern Minnesota.

After returning to South Florida, Sophia discovered a passion for coaching and has since accumulated more than a decade of experience developing young athletes. Her background includes six years coaching within the public school system and two years with one of Minnesota’s top-ranked club volleyball programs. Sophia is committed to building confident, disciplined players while creating a positive and competitive environment that strengthens both their skills and their love for the game.
